(Sorry for the noise, last post of the night, I promise.)
Still white, salvage title, but given how expensive S2000s are these days , I feel like I should check this one out at < $9k. If only my Jeep weren’t in the shop for a few more days, ugh.

That one may not do so well on dirt roads. Getting stuck could be pretty fun in it though.

I took a lowered rental S2000 (Turo) through some Indiana back roads last year. Definitely bottomed out once or thrice.

Sure seems that way.

Looks like part of the hood is missing. I would think you’d get the whole thing for $9K.

There’s always a catch.

Never having driven one, but always wanted one, and looking at prices...
go for it?

Honda will make parts forever for that car. It’ll be cheaper to put it back to new than driving your jeep for a year or two.

It would be a real shocker if this was a slushbox.

I’m sure someone, somewhere has at least explored the possibility of converting one, because people are sociopaths at heart.

If I weren’t spending half that on my Jeep for repairs right now, I’d be hard-pressed to find an excuse not to. Even as someone with a strong antipathy towards greyscale “colors”, that white is awfully appealing.

I come bearing a solution:

I really hope that was a salvage title at some point. What a cryin ’ shame.

I had one for 5 years. The new miata is better in every way

There are some people who can't drive stick, so I could see a conversion for someone in that situation. But the engine is ill suited for it.

What you need is a sports car truck.

It wouldn’t surprise me, but also more expensive (for now).
And I have a soft spot for Honda.
